We're raising money to help pay for the restoration of the cave degree in Yreka, CA. The food has been generously donated, the chefs are providing their skills at no charge, and the lodge is making its space available for free. Every single dollar taken in goes to the Grand Lodge's cave degree restoration fund.

The cave degree is an amazing way to experience the second degree, started around 1940, and it's been done 73 times now. The candidates meet in a cave by the light of a full moon, rising over the gorgeous backdrop of Northern California's most picturesque mountain, Mount Shasta. And the degree teams put on a marvelous degree, with all the majesty and awe that its teachings rightly deserve. You can read past Grand Master Dave Rosenberg's reflections on the degree.
