On Saturday. May 23rd, Clara put on a fun paint n’ sip night. There were about 25 people in attendance, and the night was filled with refreshments, vibrant paintings, and good company! Entry included a personal canvas and easel, paint swatches and brushes, sandwiches and charcuterie board bites, and chilled wines and Italian sodas. $10 from each entry fee went to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help terminally ill children fulfill the wish they’ve been dreaming of.
We had trained artists, Bob Ross enthusiasts (lots of “happy little accidents”), and some who discovered a love and knack for painting! The event attracted family members, co-workers, and young adults who got to experience the family that is the I.O.O.F. It was awesome to see so many from our communities come together to support the Foundation and each other.
Clara received amazing feedback about the paint n’ sip and is planning on repeat events. Please watch out for emails, calls, and flyers read in your upcoming lodge meetings for the next one. Bring family, friends, grandchildren, and anyone else who loves to eat and get creative! We’d love to have you, and we can’t wait to see you at a future paint n’ sip night!
