On Wednesday, April 22nd, True Fellowship Lodge #52 in San Jose once again had the honor and privilege of welcoming candidates into the Third Degree, the Degree of Truth, on behalf of District 107 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. That evening’s candidates were Sister Margaret Brandl and Brother Michael Brandl, both from Redwood City’s Bay View Lodge #109.
The Third Degree ritual went smoothly and took advantage of True Fellowship’s large spacious hall and beautiful stained glass windows. The degree team consisted of Sister Debbie Wolf, Noble Grand; Sister Lisa Harrigan, Vice Grand; Brother Scott Spence, Chaplain; Brother Mason Wolf Past Grand/RSNG; Brother Ron Myres, Warden; Sister Kat Powell, Conductor; Sister Sara Bruce, Inside Guardian/RSVG; Sister Jane Beckman, LSVG; Sister Debra LaVergne, LSNG. Afterwards, all in attendance raided True Fellowship’s freezer for ice cream. Welcome, Michael and Margaret to the Third Degree, and a big thank you to all who participated in the ritual.
